Description
The Vanstone Compost Maker is a do-it-yourself garden container that is specifically designed to, not only hold rotting garden and kitchen waste, but make rich and beautiful compost out of it. It is ultimately suitable for the domestic garden.
It features a precast concrete structure that does not rot, ventilation holes to keep the compost aerated, and a bottom door for the removal of mature compost.
The assembled size of the kit is 1.0m x 1.0m in plan (outside) and 0.64m high. If you require it to be deeper, you can purchase extra ledgers to add to the top. There are four ledgers per layer and it will increase the height by 0.16m. Remember to use longer corner rods, which has to be as long as your Compost Maker is high.
The door consists of a left-hand and a right-hand unit. It is installed at the bottom so that you can remove compost at its most mature stage.
