Description
A Tree ring is circular or square upstand that surround the tree trunk. It serves the purpose of:
- Protecting the tree at ground level.
- Containing the soil, water and nutrients around the tree.
- Forming a visually pleasing boundary between tree and the surrounding paving.
Precast concrete Tree Rings look good and are strong. It is easy to install and therefore economical.
Vanstone manufactures two main groups of Tree Rings:
- Heavy Duty or Barrier Tree Rings for vehicle parking lots and similar applications. It is for protection of the trees from vehicle wheel damage.
- Landscaping Tree Rings are smaller and lighter and suitable for gardens, landscaped areas and more. It may be used for smaller trees or even shrubs and flower beds.
